Health visitors within the NHS provide an invaluable service to all families with pre school children.

I provide a Health Visiting service that is independent from the NHS. As such I am able to offer a flexible service where I can see families in the evenings and at weekends if required, at a time that is suitable for them, working with parents to create a package of care unique to their own personal needs.

I offer the following:

Home visiting - providing information and support to parents during the postnatal period and beyond. One-to-one and group sessions covering topics such as breastfeeding, sleep and routine, introducing solid food, managing behaviour, child development, potty training and general health issues

Emotional and practical support
for parents with postnatal depression

Postnatal courses and workshops (please see ‘workshops, courses and events’ for dates and times of the ‘Well Baby Café’ postnatal course and workshops for dads)

Baby Massage tuition

Paediatric First Aid instruction

I have strong links with NHS Health Visitors and GPs and I have the facility to refer to appropriate health professionals when necessary.

I am accountable to the Nursing and Midwifery Council who demand the highest standards of clinical excellence.
