As a parent, learning basic life support and first aid skills could save your child’s life. I am passionate about empowering parents and the people in their support networks with these simple yet invaluable skills.

I run courses and workshops in Paediatric First Aid for parents, grandparents, carers, nannies, au pairs, and babysitters. I provide in-house training for secondary schools, care organisations and nanny agencies, and I am able to teach small groups in the home environment if requested.

Courses and workshops are run in various formats:

Three hour workshops for busy parents

This workshop includes CPR, dealing with choking, blood loss, burns and injuries to muscles, joints and bones. It is run on a monthly basis in Cheltenham. Please go to ‘workshops, courses and events’ for current dates and times.  

Workshops at home

If you find that the dates and times of the workshops are unsuitable there is an option to organise your own workshop at home with a group of friends, at a time and venue of your choice. Please contact me for further information.

Six hour courses

I run courses that are six hours in duration and comply with the guidelines laid down by Ofsted and Surestart for people working with children and infants wishing to register on the voluntary part of the Ofsted Childcare Register (OCR). This is ideal for secondary school students and those working within care organisations and Children’s Centres.
